About Desert View Financial ServicesI formed Desert View Financial Services in 2007 when I recognized a need for affordable escrow accounting services. As a former auditor for a major underwriter, I was struck by the number of title companies that were either paying way too much for their accounting services, or had resisted hiring outside professionals because of the prohibitive cost. Other escrow accounting services can charge upwards of $100 per hour so their customers have no idea how much it will cost. Then they have to deal with an entry level accounting clerk with limited ability to help them. Other accounting firms require that their customers use certain software programs, or they require remote computer access which often doesn't work. My goal with Desert View was to offer escrow accounting services that were affordable for clients with top notch service. I help my clients understand their accounting reports, and I work closely with them to ensure that any items that need attention are addressed and explained so that when that next underwriter audit happens, they can be relaxed and free of worry.
